Fifteen strangers at Vidhan Sabha Metro Station in Delhi waiting for the bus to arrive and wondering if we could stand each other for the next 4 days. So unpredictable and unexpected that it did not take even half an hour for us to click and start making the typical hooting for the trip. A brother with his cute, dimpled smile was meeting his clubhouse buddy for the first time. He had brought along his stubborn sister while the caring clubhouse (CH) buddy had brought her responsible elder sister. It felt like they had known each other for months, moreover, it did not take so long for the four of them to mingle with everyone so quickly and start reciting their story and all the jokes they made on CH. People on the other end were easy to talk to, for example, we had already started keeping nicknames and our favourite was “Doremon”. She did not only resemble the character but also had a tiny empty pocket that she carried along. Her first friend on the trip was the smart psychologist who was asked to give appointments to many needed as we went along the trip. Along with them, one of the most punctual, beautiful, smart and unfortunately married women were waiting for the trip to start. It looked like she knew what these trips are like because unlike the rest, she seemed prepared. Honestly, they were all different from each other but came with no boundaries. The only wish was to enjoy and take advantage of the given opportunity entirely and unanimously.

Similarly, one from a different state, a taller guy than any of us standing in the crowd walks in. He seemed shy and quiet at the start, but interestingly, he carried luggage filled with Gujarati snacks. Everyone was so tired of waiting for the bus to come but I guess that one hour of waiting actually helped all of us to connect that made the trip wonderfully filled with joy. The entry of our coordinator was quite exciting for two reasons. Firstly, we expected him to come along with the bus and second, he actually came with another beautiful, smart and fortunately unmarried girl. It was hard to believe that everything happening around was for real and not “Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani” Offscreen version because as far as I know, there was an amazing group consisting of beautiful girls, two expected couples who were still friends and five full of fun mixture of Haryanvi, UP and Delhi boys, they were definitely looking for some another level of fun because they made the trip totally happening. One last and most entertaining member of the trip was the Driver Bhaiya, he left no chance to speak his opinion about everything happening in the world right now being such great fan of "POLITICS".
Like every typical trip. Our journey also started with road trip songs, a couple of drinks to get us through the night without our comfortable beds and make it better than ever. It was the night of poetry, the night to dance after months of captivity at homes, the night to practice all the flirting irrespective of gender, the night to be excited about the next four days, it was the night we had that was needed after so long with 15 complete strangers. To be continued….
Glad you are having fun! You deserve it ❤️
