When someone urges you to wake up at a particular time, always remember there are 100% chances that nobody except you would be seen up during that time. It was 6:30am and the psychologist of the group screams outside the tent to wake everyone up expecting early start of the trip. However, as much as we tried, the day 3 started much later than we all expected. Everyone got ready and met for breakfast, also rushing to charge their phones for the day.
The plan was to take thousands of pictures, videos and store all the memories of this beautiful and adventures trip which had already started from the first glance of everyone’s face in the morning that reminded us of the fun we had the night before and despite being all sober, the laughter was yet unstoppable.
Carrying on the enthusiasm, we started the journey with shaking our hips and singing with our not so melodious voice and then headed to travel by the Volvo to the starting location of Trekking. While we were travelling, felt like the excitement level was trekking in itself.

Climbing stairs is usually the hardest part and the start of all was approx. 200 meters of climbing stairs which doesn’t really sound very hard but to be real, we were carrying a backpack full of clothes, snacks, drinks and other necessary items. It felt like carrying double our weigh.
We had planned to stay together but some had all the energy to finish it really quick and many of us were climbing while trying to motivate each other. We held hands during difficult paths, carried each other’s bags, pushed ourselves to keep walking.
The total trek was around 12 km which included a lot of jokes, lame jokes, teasing, romance, laughter, posing for pictures and eating all the Maggie we could. The taste of the Maggie and the fresh natural water was both so different and delicious that everyone wanted to carry one for their home.

The adventure was wholesome as we climbed the rocks, faced the fear crossing scary bridges and paths that consisted of space just for one person. Some paths were too slippery where in one of the trees had a board saying, “Be Careful because Vivek was not, and now he is dead” Wow, so motivating, wasn’t it? But honestly, we could not take risk of falling down because then we would have to start climbing all over again, which we all would prefer to be our “road not taken” especially being halfway there.
3 Kilometers left and our coordinator tells us “Just one more hour, you will be done”. We were so happy and motivated again until he repeated the same sentence four times.
It felt like, it was a never-ending trek but when we finally made it, for the first timers, seemed like the biggest achievement. An achievement that boosted the confidence in one self because leave alone others, I never knew I could climb for 6 hours straight. Sometimes experiences like these can surprise you with the hidden capabilities and strength you hold.
